ESN Sweden Road Trips to Russia

Spring Semester 2012

Dear students,

First of all, we’re very sorry with ESN Sweden that you haven’t received any information earlier about the trips to Russia. Unfortunately the cooperation with Niinimäki Travels, the travel agency that previously has organized the Russia trips for us, has been very bad this spring. Due to the lack of communication from their side we decided last Thursday with our National Board to cancel the previously announced trips – but don’t worry, we will replace them with new ones!

Before giving you more information about the new trips, something very important: if somebody has already paid for this spring’s trips, please inform us about it immediately so that we can get your money back! Please inform us your name, how much you paid and the date of payment. We assure you that you will get all your money back in case you already made the payment!

Now, for the replacing trips, we have decided to cooperate with another travel agency: Timetravels.
The trips are almost the exactly same dates as the original ones and the new ones are also much cheaper than the original ones! Other changes: for the first trip, to St. Petersburg only, you will no longer need a visa – this will save you up to 150€! You will for all trips also have the possibility to choose if you want to start the trip in Stockholm or directly in Helsinki! 

These are the new trips:
St. Petersburg & Helsinki                              08-14.3.2012       starting from 275€! Visa-free!
St. Petersburg, Moscow & Helsinki             01-09.4.2012       starting from 440€ + visa (starting from 70€)!
St. Petersburg, Moscow & Helsinki             11-19.4.2012       starting from 430€ + visa (starting from 70€)!

The sign up is already open, so hurry up and sign up again as soon as possible!

About the payment, you have two options:
1. Card payment (VISA, Mastercard) when booking the tour
2. Payment by IBAN transfer (invoice is sent to e-mail after booking)
If there are problems with payment, the travel agency can accept cash at the visa meetings (but note that visa meetings will only be arranged in certain cities – to be announced). In that case choose bank transfer as payment. This option only applies to the second and third trip (Moscow and St. Petersburg).

Once again, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience the change of travel agencies may have caused you – we still hope you’re eager to travel to Russia with us!
